If an user likes your website than next time he will most probably visit your website typing domain name in address bar unless he hasn't bookmarked your site. If your domain name is easy to misspell then you should go for alternative. For i.e. if you are using domain name “techmississippi” for your tech blog then most probably user will do a typing mistake while typing this domain name in address bar and that’s why will get a error page.
3) Say no to “Hyphens and Numbers”:
This is one of the controversial topic that whether we should use hyphens and numbers in domain names or not. In my opinion, hyphens and numbers make domain names look more unprofessional as well as hard to type. So we should not use Hyphens and Numbers until it is very much important.

There are so many Top Level Domain names available today. Some of the most used TLD’s are .com, .net, .in, .uk and so on. Many times a user gets confuse that which TLD should choose. I recommend that you should always go with a .com TLD. In case if .com domain name is not available than you should consider about .net TLD. Country specific domain names are not good if you want to target the whole world audience.

So if you choose a domain name which starts with Z then directory will place it at last and your site will not get the potential traffic it deserves. You should be careful in not to register domain names including trademarks, if you will, then you may be in serious legal problem. So never, go with domain names, which include any kind of trademarks. Always first search your selected domain name on Google before registering it.
